Outline: This two day course is specifically aimed at improving the assessment and management of physiotherapists. Participants will learn advanced skills in the assessment of whiplash including assessment of balance and proprioception, motor control and sensory hypersensitivity. Participants can expect to be able to accurately identify those at risk of non- recovery and understand the most reliable and valid measurements of functional outcome and psychological distress. In addition participants will have the opportunity to participate in the practical application of these treatments including specific and general exercise, advice and reassurance and manual and manipulative therapy.
