Sydney, 2-4 October 2009

On behalf of Occupational Health Physiotherapy Australia, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 2nd Biennial Occupational Health Physiotherapy Australia Conference in Sydney from 2-4 October 2009.

Join us for the fantastic opportunity to network with OHPA colleagues and the wider APA membership while updating yourself with the latest scientific research and professional practice.

The OHPA Conference Scientific Committee is preparing a stimulating program blending keynote plenary sessions, and concurrent thematic sessions on injury prevention, work injury management and emerging topics in OHS.  The conference will also cater for oral research presentations, workshops and new 5 x 5 presentations (5 slides in 5 minutes).  Saturday, our middle conference day, will feature joint sessions with other APA specialities including the Physiotherapy Research Foundation oration and a special session on promoting physical activity a vital strategy affecting all areas of professional practice. Associate Professor Han Anema from the Netherlands and Professor Leon Straker are just two of our invited speakers with many more to come.

The variety in the program will provide you with a challenging and thought-provoking time with multiple learning opportunities that should satisfy your professional needs.

The social program is looking as exciting as ever with both a cocktail party and a Sydney Harbour Cruise followed by an after-party already in the planning.

We look forward to seeing you in Sydney in 2009!
